Bandi can produce both elastic and non-elastic tapes and cords with very high resistance against heat and fire. Flame retardant tapes and cords with high flame and temperature resistance is commonly manufactured using Kevlar® and Nomex® or by a fire retardant treatment (FRT). Flame retardant tapes and cords are commonly used in fire protection equipment and apparel, as well as in other industries requiring such properties.
